Comparison review

Xperia Z5 Premium has a global score of 79.8, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Note II's global score of 74.8. The Xperia Z5 Premium is a noticeably newer device, and it is also a little bit lighter and thinner than Samsung Galaxy Note II. Both of these devices use Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia Z5 Premium has a more recent 5.1 version while Samsung Galaxy Note II has Android 4.4.2, giving lots of additional features and a performance increase.

Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a little faster processing unit than Galaxy Note II, because although it has a slower graphics co-processor, it also counts with a larger number of cores (and they are faster) and more RAM memory. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has an incredibly better looking display than Galaxy Note II, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also has a way better number of pixels per inch in the screen and a lot better resolution of 3840 x 2160.

Sony Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a way better camera than Galaxy Note II, because it has a much better 3840x2160 video resolution and a camera with a way better resolution. Galaxy Note II has a better storage to install games and applications than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB against 200 GB, it also counts with more internal storage.

The Xperia Z5 Premium features just a bit longer battery duration than Galaxy Note II, because it has a 3430mAh battery capacity against 3100mAh.

Although Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy Note II, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Note II. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Galaxy Note II, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
