Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has an overall score of 76, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Note II's 74.8 overall score. Both devices in this review include Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has a newer 6.0 Marshmallow version and Samsung Galaxy Note II has Android 4.4.2. Xiaomi Mi Note 2's construction is incredibly newer, a little bit lighter and somewhat thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Note II.
The Samsung Galaxy Note II counts with a bit more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, although it has a way lower resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, a much lower screen pixel density and a little smaller screen. Samsung Galaxy Note II features a bit better processing unit than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has 4 GB less RAM, and they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Samsung Galaxy Note II also counts with an additional GPU.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 takes much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note II, because it has a camera with a much higher 23 MP resolution and a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 features a slightly bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note II, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 64 GB more internal memory.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 features better battery performance than Galaxy Note II, because it has a 31% larger battery size.
Although Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Note II, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Note II. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, else you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Note II, resigning some specs and features.
