Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is just a bit better than Galaxy Note II, with a score of 75.8 against 74.8. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is a much newer phone, and it is also just a little lighter and thinner than Galaxy Note II. Both of these phones work with Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has 8.0 Oreo version while Galaxy Note II has Android 4.4.2 version, so it counts with a couple additional features and a performance increase.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features a display that is very similar to Galaxy Note II's screen, although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro also has a way higher screen density, a quite bigger display and a way higher 1080 x 2160 resolution. The Galaxy Note II has a little faster processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory and a lower number of cores, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a bit bigger storage to store more games and applications than Galaxy Note II, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro also has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 128 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro captures much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note II, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro also has a camera with a lot higher 12 mega pixels resolution.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has superior battery life than Galaxy Note II, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3100mAh.
