Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S4 is a little bit better than Galaxy Note II, having a 77.3 score against 71.9. The Samsung Galaxy S4 construction is much lighter and somewhat thinner than the Galaxy Note II, although they were released only 6 months apart. Both phones in our current comparison have Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy S4 has 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Note II has Android 4.1 version, providing you some additional features and a performance increase.
Samsung Galaxy Note II has a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S4, and although they both have the same number of cores and 2 GB of RAM memory, the Samsung Galaxy Note II also has a better graphics co-processor running at 1.06 gigahertz. The Samsung Galaxy S4 features a sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Note II, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a way higher resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a much higher pixel number per screen inch.
Galaxy S4 captures a lot better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note II, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Galaxy S4 also has a camera with much more mega-pixels. The Galaxy S4 has a very superior storage for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note II, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 64 GB, the Galaxy S4 also has 32 GB internal memory.
Samsung Galaxy Note II counts with improved battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S4, because it has a 3100mAh battery size against 2600mAh.
