The Motorola Edge 50 is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Note3, getting a global score of 81.2 against 77.7. Although Motorola Edge 50 is just a little heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Note3, it's a little thinner and newer. Both phones in this comparison review use Android OS (operating system), but the Motorola Edge 50 has 14 version and Samsung Galaxy Note3 has Android 4.4.2 version.

Galaxy Note3 has a very superior processing unit than Motorola Edge 50, although it has less processing cores and 5 GB less RAM memory. The Motorola Edge 50 features a much better looking display than Galaxy Note3, because it has a bit better pixels density, a bigger display and a better resolution of 1220 x 2712.

The Motorola Edge 50 takes much better pictures and videos than Galaxy Note3, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Motorola Edge 50 also has a lot bigger sensor, a larger camera aperture for better low-light photography and a way higher 50 MP resolution camera.

The Motorola Edge 50 has a lot bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Note3, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage capacity. The Motorola Edge 50 counts with a much better battery performance than Galaxy Note3, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 3200mAh.
