The iPhone XS Max has a general score of 84.5, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy Note7's 79.5 score. The iPhone XS Max design is notably newer and just a little bit thinner, but somewhat heavier than the Galaxy Note7. The iPhone XS Max features a little more vivid screen than Galaxy Note7, because although it has a just a little worse screen density and a little lower 1242 x 2688 resolution, it also counts with a little larger display.
Apple iPhone XS Max features a superior processing unit than Galaxy Note7, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Apple iPhone XS Max also has 2 more cpu cores and a 64 bits processing unit. The Galaxy Note7 counts with much more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Apple iPhone XS Max, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Galaxy Note7 also has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 256 GB.
Apple iPhone XS Max takes a little bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Note7, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not recommended for taking images and/or video in poorly lited situations and a smaller sensor capturing less light and dull colors, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a same resolution camera in the back, the Apple iPhone XS Max also counts with better 60 fps video frame rates.
Samsung Galaxy Note7 features a bit superior battery life than Apple iPhone XS Max, because it has a 3500mAh battery capacity.
