The Apple iPhone 7 Plus has a score of 83.8, which is a bit better than the Galaxy Note8's score of 83. The Apple iPhone 7 Plus is an older cellphone than Galaxy Note8, but Apple was able to build it thinner and a little bit lighter anyway. The Galaxy Note8 features just a little better performance than iPhone 7 Plus, because it has a higher number of faster cores and more RAM memory.
Samsung Galaxy Note8 features a bit sharper display than iPhone 7 Plus, because it has a much higher resolution of 1440 x 2960, more pixels per screen inch and a quite larger screen. IPhone 7 Plus features a lot bigger storage to install games and applications than Galaxy Note8, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a bit superior battery duration than iPhone 7 Plus, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity instead of 2900mAh. The Galaxy Note8 has a little bit better camera than iPhone 7 Plus, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate, a 12 MP resolution camera and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Galaxy Note8 also has a bigger sensor providing a higher image quality and a bigger diafragm aperture to take better low light captures.
Although iPhone 7 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy Note8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Note8. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Galaxy Note8, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
