Comparison review

Apple iPhone XS Max is a little bit better than the Galaxy Note8, having an 84.5 score against 83. Apple iPhone XS Max is a newer and somewhat thinner phone than the Galaxy Note8, but it is also a little bit heavier. IPhone XS Max counts with a little more vivid display than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1242 x 2688px and a little bit worse number of pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a little bigger screen.

The Apple iPhone XS Max counts with a bit better processor than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a lower number of cores (but faster) and 2 GB less RAM, it also counts with a 64-bits processor. The iPhone XS Max captures a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have a same size sensor, the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same resolution back-facing camera, the iPhone XS Max also counts with better 60 fps video frame rate.

The Galaxy Note8 counts with a very superior storage to store more games and applications than iPhone XS Max, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Galaxy Note8 also has an external SD slot that holds up to 256 GB. The Galaxy Note8 has just a little better battery lifetime than iPhone XS Max, because it has a 3300mAh battery capacity.

Although iPhone XS Max is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy Note8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Note8. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy iPhone XS Max, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy Note8, letting go a couple specs and features.
