Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is just a bit better than the Galaxy Note8, with a global score of 84.2 against 83. Although Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is notably newer than the Galaxy Note8, it is heavier and just a bit thicker. These devices work with Android OS, but the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has the previous 14 version and Galaxy Note8 has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The Galaxy Note8 has a really superior performance than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has 10 GB less RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a little bit better display than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a way lower resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a way lower pixel amount per display inch, it also counts with a little bigger display.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a much better camera than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for low-light photos and videos, it also counts with a much higher 7680x4320 video quality, a way larger back camera sensor and a back camera with a way better 50 MP resolution.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features much more storage for games and applications than Galaxy Note8, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 448 GB more internal storage capacity. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has a 67 percent bigger battery capacity.
