Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 is just a bit better than Asus ZenFone AR, having a general score of 83 against 77.4. Even though the Samsung Galaxy Note8 and the Asus ZenFone AR were only released 1 months apart, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 construction is just a little thinner but also heavier than the Asus ZenFone AR.
The Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit faster processor than Asus ZenFone AR, and although they both have a 6 GB RAM memory, the Galaxy Note8 also has a higher number of cores (and faster). Galaxy Note8 features a little bit better looking screen than Asus ZenFone AR, because it has a bit larger screen, a little bit better pixel density and a slightly better resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels.
Asus ZenFone AR shoots a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller back camera sensor giving a lower image quality, a smaller aperture and worse video frame rates, and they both have the same video quality, the Asus ZenFone AR also counts with a back facing camera with much more megapixels.
Asus ZenFone AR features a much bigger memory for apps and games than Galaxy Note8, because it has 64 GB more internal memory and a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 1,95 TB. Asus ZenFone AR features a battery life that's very similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note8 one.
