Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a score of 83, which is slightly better than the Google Nexus 6P's 80.3 global score. Although Samsung Galaxy Note8 is newer than Google Nexus 6P, it's a bit heavier and somewhat thicker. The Galaxy Note8 features a little better hardware performance than Google Nexus 6P, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Galaxy Note8 also has a greater amount of RAM.

Galaxy Note8 has a little sharper display than Google Nexus 6P, because it has a little bit larger screen, a just a bit better screen pixel density and a slightly higher resolution of 1440 x 2960. The Google Nexus 6P captures a little bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same video definition and the same video frame rates, the Google Nexus 6P also counts with a higher 12.3 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera and a larger camera sensor capturing better quality photos.
