Samsung Galaxy Note8 is slightly better than Google Pixel 2, getting an 83 score against 81.6. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a just a little thicker and a lot heavier device than the Google Pixel 2. The Galaxy Note8 counts with a little sharper display than Google Pixel 2, because it has a bigger screen, a lot better 1440 x 2960 resolution and a little bit greater screen density.

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a little better processing power than Google Pixel 2, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy Note8 has just a bit bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Google Pixel 2, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB.

Galaxy Note8 has better battery duration than Google Pixel 2, because it has a 22 percent bigger battery capacity. The Google Pixel 2 and Galaxy Note8 have incredibly similar cameras, because although the Google Pixel 2 has a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for taking photos or video in low light situations and a tinier sensor, and they both have the same video quality and the same video frame rate, it also counts with a more MP back camera.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Google Pixel 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Google Pixel 2. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Note8, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Google Pixel 2, resigning some specs and features.
