Comparison review

Galaxy Note8 is just a bit better than LG V20, having an 83 score against 77. Galaxy Note8's design is newer, but thicker and heavier than LG V20. Galaxy Note8 has a little more vivid screen than LG V20, because it has a just a bit higher amount of pixels per display inch, a slightly better resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels and a little bigger display.

The Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit faster processor than LG V20, because it has a higher number of faster cores and a larger amount of RAM. LG V20 has a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory, the LG V20 also has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.

The LG V20 takes just a bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for capturing photographs in low light environments and a smaller back camera sensor shooting worse quality pictures and videos, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the LG V20 also counts with a back camera with way more mega-pixels.

Galaxy Note8 counts with a little better battery life than LG V20, because it has a 3300mAh battery capacity instead of 3200mAh.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the LG V20, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG V20. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Note8, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the LG V20, resigning a couple features and specifications.
