Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has an overall score of 83, which is a bit better than the Motorola DROID Turbo's 77.9 general score. Both phones we compare here come with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Motorola DROID Turbo has Android 4.4.4 version, so it provides lots of additional features. Samsung Galaxy Note8's design is noticeably newer and notably thinner than the Motorola DROID Turbo's, although it's just a little heavier.

Motorola DROID Turbo counts with a better display than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a little lower resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher display pixel density. Galaxy Note8 features a very superior storage to install games and applications than Motorola DROID Turbo, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Note8 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB.

The Motorola DROID Turbo features a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM and 4 lesser cores (although faster), it also counts with a graphics processing unit. The Motorola DROID Turbo has improved battery lifetime than Galaxy Note8, because it has an 18 percent larger battery size.

The Motorola DROID Turbo features a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has worse video frame rate and a smaller aperture which is worse for capturing photographs or videos in low-light environments, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Motorola DROID Turbo also counts with a back facing camera with way more MP.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Motorola DROID Turbo, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Motorola DROID Turbo. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy Motorola DROID Turbo, letting go a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
