The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a general score of 83, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy A12's 80.3 score. Both phones in this comparison have Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy A12 has Android 10 version, so it gives you some additional features. Samsung Galaxy Note8's construction is just a little bit lighter and a bit thinner than the Galaxy A12, despite of the fact that it was released many years before.
