Comparison review
The Galaxy M31s is a little bit better than Galaxy Note8, with an 88 score against 83. Even though Galaxy M31s is much newer than the Galaxy Note8, it is a bit heavier and a little bit thicker. These phones include Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy M31s has 11 version while Galaxy Note8 has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Galaxy Note8 has a little more vivid screen than Galaxy M31s, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960px and a better pixels number per display inch. The Galaxy M31s counts with much more storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has 64 GB more internal memory and a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy M31s features a CPU that is just as good as Galaxy Note8's CPU, both have 8 cores and a 6 GB RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy M31s counts with a greater camera than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for taking photos or videos in low-light environments, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same video definition, the Samsung Galaxy M31s also counts with a much bigger back camera sensor providing a way higher image quality and a camera in the back with a way better resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy M31s features a much better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has a 6000mAh battery size.
