The Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, getting a overall score of 83 against 79.3. Both of these phones come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Note8 has newer 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has Android 5.1 version. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 body is extremely newer, but thicker and heavier than the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+.

Galaxy Note8 has a better performing processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a greater number of faster cores and a greater amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy S6 edge+ features just a bit better looking display than Galaxy Note8, although it has a bit inferior number of pixels per inch in the screen, a little smaller display and a quite lower resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.

Galaxy Note8 features a lot bigger storage to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Note8 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB. Samsung Galaxy Note8 features just a little bit longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.

The Galaxy Note8 is a little more expensive than the Galaxy S6 edge+, but you can get a better phone for that extra money.
