Comparison review

The Galaxy Note8 has a global score of 83, which is a bit better than Xperia 5's score of 81. Despite being the best cellphone in our current comparison, it must be noted that it's also a way older, heavier and a little bit thicker cellphone. The Xperia 5 has a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Note8. They have the same RAM memory amount and a Octa-Core processing unit.

The Galaxy Note8 features a bit more vivid screen than Sony Xperia 5, because it has a quite larger screen, a just a little greater pixels density and a better 1440 x 2960px resolution. Xperia 5 counts with a camera that's very similar to Galaxy Note8's camera, because although the Xperia 5 has a smaller back-facing camera sensor which provides a lower photo and video quality, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the same video frame rates and the same resolution back facing camera, it also counts with a larger camera aperture to capture better images and video in poorly lited environments.

Sony Xperia 5 has a much greater storage capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Note8, because it has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 512 GB and more internal memory. Galaxy Note8 counts with just a little better battery performance than Sony Xperia 5, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity.

Despite of being the best phone of the ones we are comparing here, the Galaxy Note8 is also a bargain compared to the other devices, making it a no doubt choice.
