Comparison review

Galaxy Note8 has a general score of 83, which is a little bit better than Xperia XZ3's 79.6 global score. Galaxy Note8 is an older and just a little heavier phone than the Xperia XZ3, but Samsung made it somewhat thinner anyway. Both of these devices have the same Android 9.0 Pie operating system. Xperia XZ3 counts with a little sharper display than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a little smaller display and a little lower resolution of 1440 x 2880px, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch of display.

The Sony Xperia XZ3 counts with a little better processing power than Galaxy Note8, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Xperia XZ3 features slightly more memory capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note8, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Xperia XZ3 also has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 512 GB.

The Galaxy Note8 and the Xperia XZ3 count with extremely similar batteries, although the Xperia XZ3 also has 3330mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh. The Xperia XZ3 captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for taking photos and video in low-light situations, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video definition, the Xperia XZ3 also counts with a bigger sensor capturing better quality videos and photos and a lot better 19 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back.

Samsung Galaxy Note8 not only is the best phones in our current comparison, but it's also by far the cheapest one.
