Galaxy Note8 is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi 5s, with a overall score of 83 against 76.4. These devices work with Android operating system, but Galaxy Note8 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Mi 5s has Android 6.0 Marshmallow, giving you some extra features and improved performance. The Galaxy Note8 body is newer, but extremely heavier and just a little thicker than Xiaomi Mi 5s.
Xiaomi Mi 5s and Galaxy Note8 have very similar screens, although the Xiaomi Mi 5s has a little bit lower quantity of pixels per inch in the screen, a way worse resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a bit smaller display.
