The Galaxy Note9 is slightly better than Galaxy A50, having a overall score of 87.1 against 83.8. The Galaxy Note9 is better than Galaxy A50, we must highlight that it is also a somewhat thicker and heavier phone. Samsung Galaxy Note9 counts with just a little better processing power than Galaxy A50, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also has more RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy Note9 features a bit better looking display than Galaxy A50, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also has a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960px and a higher pixel density. Samsung Galaxy Note9 takes a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy A50, because although it has a back-facing camera with lot less mega-pixels, it also counts with a bigger sensor taking better quality photos, a larger camera aperture and a lot better (4K) video resolution.

The Galaxy A50 and Galaxy Note9 count with extremely similar storage for games and applications, both have the same internal memory and a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 512 GB. The Samsung Galaxy A50 features a battery life that is just as good as Samsung Galaxy Note9's battery life.

Although Galaxy Note9 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy A50, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy A50. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy Note9, else you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy A50, giving up a couple specifications.
