Comparison review
The Galaxy Note9 has a score of 87.1, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 9's overall score of 83.2. Although Galaxy Note9 is a better cellphone than the Xiaomi Mi 9, it must be noted that it is also a somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker cellphone. The Xiaomi Mi 9's processing unit is very similar to the processing unit in Galaxy Note9, both have the same RAM memory amount and a Octa-Core processing unit.
Galaxy Note9 features a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi 9, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Galaxy Note9 also has a higher pixel density and a better resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels. Xiaomi Mi 9 captures much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy Note9, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for shooting photographs in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 60 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also counts with a much bigger sensor which provides a lot better photo and video quality and a much better 48 megapixels resolution back-facing camera.
The Samsung Galaxy Note9 counts with a much greater storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 9, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also has an external memory card slot that allows up to 512 GB.
Samsung Galaxy Note9 counts with superior battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has a 21% greater battery size.
