Comparison review

Xperia TL is much better than the Galaxy R, getting a 66.1 score against 58.2. The Xperia TL design has the same thickness than Galaxy R, but it is just a bit heavier. Both phones we compare here use Android operating system, but Xperia TL has a newer 4.1 version while Galaxy R has Android 2.3.3 version.

The Xperia TL features just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy R, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount and 2 cpu cores, the Xperia TL also has an additional GPU. The Sony Xperia TL counts with a better looking display than Galaxy R, because it has a bit larger screen, a greater pixel density and a lot higher resolution of 1280 x 720px.

The Sony Xperia TL counts with a lot bigger memory for applications and games than Galaxy R, and although they both have an external SD slot that admits up to 32 GB, the Sony Xperia TL also has 16 GB internal memory capacity. Xperia TL takes much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy R, because it has a back facing camera with lot more mega pixels and a way better (Full HD) video definition.

The Xperia TL counts with a little longer battery life than Galaxy R, because it has 1850mAh of battery capacity against 1650mAh.

The Xperia TL costs a bit more than Samsung Galaxy R, but you can get a better phone for that extra money.
