The Galaxy S6 Edge is much better than Galaxy S II, with a general score of 81.8 against 66. The Galaxy S6 Edge body is incredibly newer and thinner, but also somewhat heavier than the Galaxy S II. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy S6 Edge has a newer 5.0 version and Galaxy S II has Android 4.1.2 version, so it counts with some extra features and performance tweaks.

The Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a much better display than Galaxy S II, because it has a lot higher pixel density, a much higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a larger display. Galaxy S II has a superior storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal memory, the Galaxy S II also has an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 32 GB.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a way better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S II, because it has more processing cores, a 64-bit processing unit, a larger amount of RAM memory and a faster 650 megahertz graphics co-processor. Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S II, because it has a 58% larger battery capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge shoots clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S II, because it has a bigger sensor which offers a better photo and video quality, a much more megapixels camera in the back, a much larger diafragm aperture to capture better low light captures and video and a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.

Even being the best phone in this comparison, Galaxy S6 Edge is also a bit cheaper, which makes this phone a very good choice.
