Comparison review

Sony Xperia Z is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy S II Plus, with a global score of 67.3 against 61.2. Both phones in this comparison have Android OS, but the Sony Xperia Z has newer 4.4.4 version and Samsung Galaxy S II Plus has Android 4.1.2, counting with a couple additional features. Sony Xperia Z's body is somewhat heavier but a little bit thinner than Samsung Galaxy S II Plus, and both of them were released only a few months apart.

Xperia Z features a lot better display than Samsung Galaxy S II Plus, because it has a bigger display, a way better resolution of 1920 x 1080px and way more pixels per inch in the screen.
