The Galaxy A7 has an overall score of 75.4, which is slightly better than Galaxy S III's 70.8 global score. These phones use Android operating system, but Galaxy A7 has newer 4.4.4 version and Galaxy S III has Android 4.4.2. Although Galaxy A7 is a bit heavier than Galaxy S III, it's way thinner and also incredibly newer.

The Samsung Galaxy A7 features as much memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos as Samsung Galaxy S III, both have a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 64 GB and exactly the same internal memory capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy A7 counts with a superior processing unit than Galaxy S III, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Samsung Galaxy A7 also has 6 more CPU cores, a 64-bits CPU and a much better graphics processor working at 500 MHz. The Galaxy A7 counts with superior battery performance than Galaxy S III, because it has 2600mAh of battery capacity instead of 2100mAh.
Galaxy S III captures a little bit better photos and videos than Galaxy A7, although it has a back-facing camera with lot less mega-pixels resolution and a worse 1920x1080 video definition.
