The Samsung Galaxy J7 Max is a bit better than the Galaxy S III AT&T, getting a 76.1 score against 72.2. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy J7 Max has a newer 7.0 Nougat version and Galaxy S III AT&T has Android 4.3, so it offers some extra features. Samsung Galaxy J7 Max is a notably newer and a little thinner cellphone than the Galaxy S III AT&T, but it is a lot heavier.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Max shoots slightly better photos and videos than Galaxy S III AT&T, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Max also has a much more mega pixels camera in the back and a much larger camera aperture for better low light images and video.
