The Google Nexus 6P is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S III, getting a global score of 80.3 against 74.8. The Google Nexus 6P construction is way newer and somewhat thinner, but incredibly heavier than Samsung Galaxy S III. Google Nexus 6P features a bit better processor than Samsung Galaxy S III, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with a greater number of cores (and also faster) and a greater amount of RAM.

Google Nexus 6P features a screen that's just as good as Galaxy S III's screen, although the Google Nexus 6P also has a bigger display, a way greater display pixels density and a way higher 1440 x 2560 resolution. Google Nexus 6P has a much better memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S III, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.

The Google Nexus 6P shoots much better pictures and videos than Galaxy S III, because it has a lot larger aperture, a back facing camera with a much higher 12.3 mega pixels resolution, a much larger sensor providing a much higher image quality and a way better (4K) video definition. Google Nexus 6P features a superior battery duration than Galaxy S III, because it has a 64 percent greater battery capacity.

Although Google Nexus 6P is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy S III, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy S III. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Google Nexus 6P, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy S III, giving up some specifications.
