Comparison review

Google Pixel XL is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S III, having an 81.3 score against 74.8. The Google Pixel XL body has the same thickness than Samsung Galaxy S III, but it is notably heavier. Galaxy S III features a bit superior CPU than Google Pixel XL, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S III also counts with an additional graphics co-processor.

The Galaxy S III and the Google Pixel XL both have quite similar displays, although the Google Pixel XL also has a much higher 1440 x 2560px resolution, a way better pixel density and a little bigger screen. Google Pixel XL takes much clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a way bigger diafragm aperture for better captures and videos in low-light situations, a lot better video quality, a back-facing camera with way more mega pixels and a lot larger sensor shooting way higher quality pictures and videos.

The Google Pixel XL counts with much more storage to store more games and applications than Galaxy S III, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. Google Pixel XL counts with a superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has 3450mAh of battery capacity.

Although Google Pixel XL is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy S III, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy S III. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get Galaxy S III, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your savings.
