The LG V30 has a score of 79.1, which is a bit better than Galaxy S III's overall score of 74.8. Although LG V30 is somewhat heavier than the Galaxy S III, it's thinner and also notably newer. LG V30 counts with a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy S III, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with a larger number of cores and a larger amount of RAM memory.

LG V30 counts with a little more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a larger screen, a much better resolution of 1440 x 2880 and a lot better display pixels density. LG V30 shoots much better photographs and videos than Galaxy S III, because although it has a tinier sensor shooting worse quality videos and pictures, it also counts with a lot higher video quality, a way bigger camera aperture to capture better low light images and videos and a camera with lot more megapixels.

The LG V30 counts with a much better memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity and a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. LG V30 has a way better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a 3300mAh battery capacity instead of 2100mAh.

Although LG V30 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy S III, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy S III. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Galaxy S III, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
