The OnePlus 8 has a score of 76, which is a bit better than Galaxy S III's global score of 74.8. OnePlus 8's design is way newer and a little bit thinner, but noticeably heavier than the Galaxy S III. The OnePlus 8 counts with just a little better processing power than Galaxy S III, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory and a larger number of faster cores.

The OnePlus 8 counts with a slightly better display than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has way more display brightness, a lot bigger display, a better pixel number per inch of screen and a much higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px. The OnePlus 8 has a way bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S III, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.

OnePlus 8 captures greater photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a much higher 48 megapixels resolution camera, a lot bigger aperture to capture better photography and videos in low-light environments, a much larger sensor which offers a much higher photo and video quality and a lot higher (4K) video quality.

OnePlus 8 has a much longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a 4300mAh battery size.

Although OnePlus 8 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy S III, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy S III. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy OnePlus 8, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy S III, resigning some features and specs.
