The Galaxy A8 Star is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S III, getting an 82.1 score against 74.8. Although Galaxy A8 Star is incredibly heavier than the Samsung Galaxy S III, it's thinner and also noticeably newer. These phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy A8 Star has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy S III has Android 4.3 version, so it provides the user some nice extra features.

The Galaxy S III has a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, although it has a lot smaller display, a just a little lower pixel density and a way lower resolution of 1280 x 720.
