The Galaxy S6 edge+ has a score of 79.3, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy S III's 74.8 overall score. Both phones in this comparison use Android operating system, but Galaxy S6 edge+ has a more recent 5.1 version and Samsung Galaxy S III has Android 4.3, so it gives a couple nice extra features and performance tweaks. The Galaxy S6 edge+ is a incredibly newer and noticeably thinner device than the Samsung Galaxy S III, but it is also heavier.
