Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 5s is a bit better than the Galaxy S III, with a 76.4 score against 74.8. These phones include Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Mi 5s has the newer 6.0 Marshmallow version and Galaxy S III has Android 4.3. The Xiaomi Mi 5s is a noticeably newer and just a bit thinner cellphone than Galaxy S III, although it's also a little heavier.
Galaxy S III and Xiaomi Mi 5s count with really similar CPUs, because although the Xiaomi Mi 5s has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, and they both have 4 cpu cores, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM. The Xiaomi Mi 5s has a bit sharper screen than Galaxy S III, because it has a bit bigger display, a way higher 1080 x 1920 resolution, a higher pixels density and way more brightness.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s has a much better storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy S III, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Mi 5s has a better camera than Galaxy S III, because it has a back camera with a much higher resolution, a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, a way larger aperture for better images in poorly lited situations and a lot bigger sensor shooting way higher quality pictures.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s counts with a superior battery lifetime than Galaxy S III, because it has 3200mAh of battery capacity against 2100mAh.
Although Xiaomi Mi 5s is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S III, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy S III. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi 5s, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy S III, resigning a couple specifications.
