The Moto E5 is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S III mini, with a 66 score against 60.9. These phones have Android operating system, but the Moto E5 has the newer 8.0 Oreo version and Samsung Galaxy S III mini has Android 4.1.2 version. Moto E5 is a a lot newer and somewhat thinner device than the Samsung Galaxy S III mini, although it is heavier.

The Galaxy S III mini has a little sharper screen than Moto E5, although it has a lot lower resolution of 800 x 480px, a lot smaller display and a just a little lower pixels density. The Moto E5 features just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S III mini, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory and a larger number of faster cores.

The Moto E5 features a better memory for apps and games than Galaxy S III mini, and although they both have equal 16 GB internal storage, the Moto E5 also has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB. Moto E5 features a way better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S III mini, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 1500mAh.

Moto E5 captures much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy S III mini, because it has a camera in the back with lot more megapixels and a much better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition.

Motorola Moto E5 not only is the best devices between the ones we are comparing here, but it's also by far the cheapest one.
