Galaxy S10 has a global score of 88.3, which is a bit better than the Galaxy A8 Star's 82.1 overall score. Even though Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy A8 Star were only released with a couple months difference, the Galaxy S10 body is somewhat lighter but also a little thicker. Both devices we are comparing work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy S10 has an older 11 version while Galaxy A8 Star has Android 9.0 Pie version.

Samsung Galaxy S10 has a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy S10 also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy S10 counts with a sharper screen than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the display and a better resolution of 1440 x 3040 pixels.

Galaxy S10 features a very superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy S10 features just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a much less mega-pixels resolution back camera, it also counts with a larger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a larger aperture.

The Galaxy A8 Star features a bit superior battery duration than Galaxy S10, because it has a 9% more battery capacity.
