Samsung Galaxy S10e is a bit better than the Galaxy A8 Star, with an 86.3 score against 82.1. The Samsung Galaxy S10e body is incredibly lighter but just a bit thicker than Galaxy A8 Star, and both of them were released with only a couple months difference. Galaxy S10e has a little bit better looking display than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly better 1080 x 2280 resolution and a bit higher display pixel density.
The Galaxy S10e features a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A8 Star. Both have the same number of cores and 6 GB of RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy S10e features a much better storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 512 GB and more internal storage.
Samsung Galaxy A8 Star features improved battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S10e, because it has 3700mAh of battery capacity instead of 3100mAh. Galaxy S10e captures clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a much worse resolution back facing camera and a lower video resolution, it also counts with a bigger sensor shooting better quality videos and photos and a larger aperture to capture better low light photography.
