The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G is much better than the Galaxy Note9, having a 98 score against 87.1. The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G is a just a little heavier phone than Galaxy Note9, but both are equally thin. The Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G has a bit superior processor than Samsung Galaxy Note9, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G also has a greater amount of RAM memory.

Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a display that is very similar to Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G's display, because although the Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a little bit smaller screen and a little bit lower resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels, it also counts with a quite greater pixels count in each screen inch. Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G features a slightly better storage for games and applications than Galaxy Note9, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 1000 GB.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G shoots much better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note9, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for capturing photos and video in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a way bigger sensor taking lot better quality videos and pictures, a way higher video quality and a much better 108 MP resolution back-facing camera.

The Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G has improved battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note9, because it has a 25% bigger battery capacity.

Although Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy Note9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Note9. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get Galaxy Note9, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your budget.
