Samsung Galaxy S22 has an overall score of 93.4, which is much better than the OnePlus 8's global score of 76. The Samsung Galaxy S22 construction is newer, a little lighter and just a little bit thinner than OnePlus 8. The Galaxy S22 features just a bit better looking screen than OnePlus 8, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a bit smaller display, it also counts with more screen brightness and a little bit higher count of pixels per inch of screen.
The OnePlus 8 has a little bit better performance than Galaxy S22. Both have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount. Galaxy S22 takes just a bit better videos and photos than OnePlus 8, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the Galaxy S22 also has a more mega-pixels back camera, a lot higher 7680x4320 video resolution and a lot larger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
OnePlus 8's storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is just as good as Galaxy S22's one, both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage. The OnePlus 8 has a little better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S22, because it has a 16% more battery size.
Galaxy S22 costs a lot more than OnePlus 8, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a better phone for that extra money.
