Samsung Galaxy S25 has a global score of 82.6, which is slightly better than the OnePlus 8's score of 76. Samsung Galaxy S25's construction is a lot lighter and notably thinner than OnePlus 8. The OnePlus 8 features a way better performance than Galaxy S25. They have 8 GB of RAM and the same number of cores.
Samsung Galaxy S25 features a little sharper screen than OnePlus 8, because although it has a little lower resolution of 1080 x 2340px and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit greater pixels count in each inch of display and a really brighter screen. The OnePlus 8 features as much storage capacity to store more games and applications as the Samsung Galaxy S25 one, they have the same 128 GB internal storage.
Galaxy S25 has just a bit better camera than OnePlus 8, and although they both have the same diafragm aperture, the Galaxy S25 also has a much higher 7680x4320 video resolution, a way bigger back camera sensor and a higher 50 mega pixels resolution camera. OnePlus 8 counts with just a little bit longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S25, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
Although Galaxy S25 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the OnePlus 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the OnePlus 8. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy S25, else you can save some dollars and get the OnePlus 8, letting go some specifications.
