Galaxy S6 Edge's construction is newer and just a little bit thinner, but also just a little bit heavier than the Galaxy S4. Both phones in this comparison review have the same Android 5.0 OS, so you shouldn't perceive any differences regarding OS features.

Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a bit sharper display than Galaxy S4, because it has a higher pixels number per inch in the screen, a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440px and a little bigger display. The Galaxy S4 features a lot bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has an external memory slot that admits up to 64 GB and 32 GB more internal memory.

Galaxy S6 Edge features a better performing processor than Samsung Galaxy S4, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S6 Edge also has a 64-bit processing unit, more RAM and an extra graphics processing unit.
