The Samsung Galaxy A12 has an overall score of 80.3, which is a little bit better than Galaxy S4's 79 general score. The Samsung Galaxy A12 design is notably newer than Galaxy S4's, but it's extremely heavier and thicker. Both of these devices include Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy A12 has the newer 10 version and Galaxy S4 has Android 4.4, so it gives you some nice extra features and better performance.

The Galaxy A12 has a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy S4, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with a larger number of cores and a higher amount of RAM memory. Galaxy A12 features a much better battery life than Galaxy S4, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 2600mAh.
Galaxy A12 has a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy S4, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Galaxy A12 also has a back-facing camera with way more mega pixels and a larger diafragm aperture.
