Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is a little bit better than Galaxy S4, having a global score of 82.1 against 79. Both phones we compare here have Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy S4 has Android 4.4, so it offers some nice extra features. Samsung Galaxy A8 Star's construction is extremely newer and a little thinner than the Galaxy S4's, although it is extremely heavier.
Galaxy A8 Star features just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy S4, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with a larger number of cores (and also faster) and a higher amount of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy S4 has a sharper display than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a quite lower 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a much smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit higher quantity of pixels in each screen inch.
Galaxy A8 Star counts with a greater storage for games and applications than Galaxy S4, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage, the Galaxy A8 Star also has an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 400 GB. Galaxy A8 Star features a very superior battery duration than Galaxy S4, because it has a 3700mAh battery capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star captures much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy S4, because it has a larger back camera sensor capturing higher quality photos, a back camera with more mega pixels, a way bigger aperture to take better photography and video in low light situations and a much higher (4K) video resolution.
