The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S4, with an 81.7 score against 79. Both of these phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has a more recent 5.0 version and Samsung Galaxy S4 has Android 4.4. The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is a newer phone than the Samsung Galaxy S4, but it's a lot heavier and a little bit thicker.

Galaxy Note Edge has a bit better looking screen than Galaxy S4, because it has a quite bigger display, a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a just a bit higher count of pixels per display inch. The Samsung Galaxy S4 counts with a better memory for games and applications than Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has an external SD slot that holds up to 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with more internal memory.

Galaxy Note Edge has a bit better performance than Galaxy S4, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Note Edge also has a faster 500 megahertz graphics processing unit and more RAM memory. The Galaxy Note Edge features just a bit longer battery duration than Galaxy S4, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity.

Samsung Galaxy Note Edge features a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy S4, and although they both have the same aperture, the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge also has a way higher (4K) video resolution, a more mega-pixels back-facing camera and a larger sensor.

Although Galaxy Note Edge is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S4, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy S4. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy Note Edge, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy S4, letting go some features and specifications.
