Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 edge+ is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy S4, with a global score of 79.3 against 79. Although Galaxy S6 edge+ is heavier than the Samsung Galaxy S4, it's somewhat thinner and also noticeably newer. Both phones we compare here come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy S6 edge+ has a more recent 5.1 version and Samsung Galaxy S4 has Android 4.4 version, so it gives some additional features.
Galaxy S6 edge+ counts with a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy S4, because it has a bit better count of pixels per inch of screen, a little larger display and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The Galaxy S4 counts with a bit faster CPU than Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a higher number of cores and an extra graphics processing unit.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 features a much better memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy S4 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB. The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ counts with just a little bit longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy S4, because it has a 15% more battery capacity.
Galaxy S6 edge+ counts with a much better camera than Galaxy S4, because it has a bigger sensor taking higher quality videos and photographs, a more mega pixels back-facing camera, a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light images and a much better 3840x2160 video resolution.
Although Galaxy S6 edge+ is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy S4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy S4. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy S6 edge+, otherwise you can save some money and get the Samsung Galaxy S4, resigning some specifications.
