Google Pixel 2 is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S5, getting an 81.6 score against 80.8. The Google Pixel 2 is a way newer phone, and it's also a little thinner and just a little lighter than Samsung Galaxy S5. Galaxy S5 features a bit superior CPU than Google Pixel 2, because although it has 4 less cpu cores and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a GPU.
Galaxy S5 counts with a brighter screen than Google Pixel 2, and although they both have an equal 1920 x 1080 resolution, the Galaxy S5 also has a greater count of pixels per display inch and a bit bigger display. The Samsung Galaxy S5 shoots clearer photographs and videos than Google Pixel 2, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for low light captures and video, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, a 0.38 inches sensor and the same video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy S5 also counts with a much more mega pixels camera.
The Google Pixel 2 features a much bigger memory to install games and applications than Galaxy S5, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage. The Galaxy S5 features just a little better battery duration than Google Pixel 2, because it has 2800mAh of battery capacity.
Even being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, Google Pixel 2 is also by far the cheapest one.
