Comparison review

The Google Pixel XL has an overall score of 81.3, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S5's 80.8 general score. The Google Pixel XL construction is noticeably newer than Samsung Galaxy S5's, but it is somewhat heavier and a bit thicker. The Galaxy S5 counts with a brighter screen than Google Pixel XL, because although it has a little smaller display and a lot worse 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with a little bit greater pixels quantity per inch in the screen.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Google Pixel XL, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy S5 also counts with an extra GPU. The Galaxy S5 features just a bit better camera than Google Pixel XL, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor capturing worse quality images and a smaller aperture which is not nice for low light captures, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same (4K) video quality, the Galaxy S5 also counts with a way better resolution camera in the back.

The Google Pixel XL counts with a much greater memory for apps and games than Galaxy S5, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory. The Google Pixel XL counts with greater battery duration than Galaxy S5, because it has 3450mAh of battery capacity.

Although Google Pixel XL is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy S5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy S5. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Google Pixel XL, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy S5, giving up a couple features and specifications.
