Comparison review
The Galaxy S5 is a bit better than the LG V30, getting an 80.8 score against 79.1. The Galaxy S5 construction is just a bit lighter than the LG V30, although it's a little thicker and was released 3 years before. Galaxy S5 counts with a bit better processing power than LG V30, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory and less processing cores , it also counts with an extra graphics processor.
Galaxy S5 features a sharper screen than LG V30, because although it has a lot worse 1920 x 1080 resolution and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a little greater screen pixels density. The LG V30's camera is very similar to Samsung Galaxy S5's camera, because although the LG V30 has a smaller camera sensor taking less light and duller colors, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, a 16 MP resolution camera in the back and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, it also counts with a much larger diafragm aperture.
LG V30 counts with a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S5, because it has an external SD slot that admits up to 1,95 TB and more internal storage. LG V30 has superior battery lifetime than Galaxy S5, because it has a 3300mAh battery capacity.
Although Galaxy S5 is a better device, it costs more money than LG V30, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG V30. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy S5, but if you don't you can save some money and get the LG V30, letting go a couple specs and features.
