Samsung Galaxy S5 has a score of 80.8, which is a bit better than Motorola DROID Turbo's 77.9 overall score. Although the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the Motorola DROID Turbo were released with only a few months difference, the Samsung Galaxy S5 is somewhat lighter and incredibly thinner. These phones work with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy S5 has 4.4.2 version and Motorola DROID Turbo has Android 4.4.4.

Motorola DROID Turbo counts with a screen that's just as good as the Galaxy S5 one, because although the Motorola DROID Turbo has a just a bit less pixels per display inch, it also counts with a quite larger screen and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440px. The Galaxy S5 counts with a bit bigger storage to install applications and games than Motorola DROID Turbo, because although it has just 32 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory slot that admits up to 128 GB.

Motorola DROID Turbo features just a bit better performance than Galaxy S5. Both have 3 GB of RAM memory, a 500 megahertz GPU and 4 cpu cores. The Motorola DROID Turbo features a superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has a 3900mAh battery size against 2800mAh. Samsung Galaxy S5 features just a bit better camera than Motorola DROID Turbo, although it has a lower 3840x2160 video definition, a tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for shooting pictures in poorly lited environments and a much lower resolution back facing camera.

Although Galaxy S5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Motorola DROID Turbo, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Motorola DROID Turbo. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy S5, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Motorola DROID Turbo, resigning some specs and features.
