Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A12, with a general score of 80.8 against 80.3. Samsung Galaxy S5's body is lighter and just a bit thinner than Samsung Galaxy A12, even though it was released 7 years before. These phones use Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy S5 has newer 4.4.2 version while Samsung Galaxy A12 has Android 10, offering some nice extra features.

Galaxy S5 has a way better screen than Samsung Galaxy A12, because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with a much greater screen density and a better 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. The Samsung Galaxy S5 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy A12, because although it has less processing cores (although they are faster) and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit.

The Galaxy A12 counts with a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy S5, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy A12 also has a larger diafragm aperture to capture better images in low-light situations and a much better resolution camera in the back.

Galaxy A12 has much more storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S5, because it has 32 GB more internal storage capacity and an external SD slot that holds up to 1 TB. The Galaxy A12 counts with a much better battery performance than Galaxy S5, because it has a 79 percent larger battery capacity.
